The Italian Football Association is seeking to promote its cultural heritage by raising the level of use and consultation of the materials in its possession.
Calcio e-library collects and makes available the bibliographical materials and documents located in Coverciano and Rome.
The method used to collect bibliographical materials depends on the respective Collection:
The collection of the Italian Football Association's Technical Center Library consists of over 3,500 texts, including books, periodicals and dissertations relating to every aspect of football, and in particular: management, psychology, sociology, physical activity, law, medicine and literature. An important number of technical and training methodology books as well as a full archive of the dissertations of all the coaches and sport directors participating in training courses at Coverciano are stored in the Library.
The Library is the bibliographical archive of the Fondazione Museo del Calcio in Coverciano, the historical and cultural documentation center for Italian and international football. The material contained in the Library of the Fondazione Museo del Calcio includes books and magazines on the culture and history of football in Italy, Europe and the world.
The archives of the Italian Football Association's Development Department contain researches, lectures, dissertations, analyses and comparisons of data and practices adopted at a national and international level by public organizations, national associations and football clubs. There is special focus on economic and management issues applied to football matters.
