What is Calcio E-Library?

Calcio E-Library is the Archive for the documents of the Library of the Technical Sector, of the Football Museum Foudation, both in Coverciano (Florence), and of the Federal Study Center in Rome.

Is it necessary a log-in to enter the Archive?

The Archive is open to anybody, without any kind of registration.

Which kind of documents contains the Archive?

The Archive contains a variety of documents: books, journals, theses, encyclopedias, dictionaries, audiovisuals, didactic material, papers and publications of the Study Center.

Which is the policy for the consultation of documents?

It is possible to consult the documents of the three branches by appointment.
Check the page contacts of the website.

To consult the documents of the Football Museum and of the Library of the Technical Sector is it necessary to go to Coverciano?

Upon request you can receive the documents conserved in Coverciano directly in the Federal Study Center of Rome.
The documents are delivered since the third day after the request.
Journals are excluded from this delivery service.

How can I make a research on Calcio E-Library?

Documents can be retrieved from the home page through the menu "Browse by" which allows to use different keywords: by classification, location, language, etc., or by a semplice or advanced by author, title, keyword, etc.
To this end, we recommend you to consult the guides and the tutorial, which provide examples about how to query the archive, in the section Guide.

The documents in the Archive are available in a full-text mode?

Not all the material stored in the archive is accessible

What can I do to consult only the open-access documents?

From the menu, you have to move on "Browse by" and select the option Browse by full-text availability.
Click on the pdf icon to download the document.

The theses are available in digital format?

The theses are available in digital full-text from the season 2012/2013 on, excepted for the theses of the Master course for UEFA Pro LIcence (Italy first category licence) – which are downloadable since the season 2011/2012.

Is it allowed to reproduce documents?

The reproduction of documents is regulated by the currents law terms.

How can I receive more information or assistance?

It is possible to communicate directly with the Federal Library throughout the contact page of the archive.
